LeBron did a lot of damage to himself two seasons ago with "The Decision" and Houdini act in the finals. He will have to surpass Jordan in rings (by maybe 2), double his present MVP total, never miss out on being a finals MVP, and become or at least threaten the scoring record.
June 26, 201313 yr Jordan is currently the GOAT. Jordan and LBJ at age 28 both had two rings. What if LBJ gets 6 or 7? LBJ taking Cleveland to the finals is more difficult than anything Jordan did in a single season including the 72 win team. The year Jordan was suspended the Bulls won 55 games. The year LBJ left Cleveland the Cavs won 19. Jordan is a far more clutch jump shooter, but what if LBJ hitting those jumpers in game 7 make him more confident in his shot? Jordan can't make half the physical plays LBJ made in this years playoffs. He had 3 blocks that no swing man in the history of the league would have made.

Not sure any of those teams as constituted during their finals run would be a favorite against the Heat. Yeah any of them could beat the Heat, not sure they would though. Phoenix IMO would be the toughest series for the Heat out of that group.

June 26, 201313 yr I've said it over and over that Jordan is GOAT but I think when you start comparing LBJ and MJ at the same stage in their careers or at the same age the difference isn't as great as many would think it is.

All I know is that I have watched both players hundreds of times and I felt that it was pretty much impossible to stop Jordan. LeBron and Kobe are great players but they just aren't on the same level as MJ, IMO. And also IMJO lol
