July 3, 201313 yr They do and they probably should. Jamie Foxx got away with joking about how great it was that his character in Django Unchained got to kill all the white people. I think that's because most people wouldn't mind bigots of that nature being taken care of...
July 3, 201313 yr I think that's because most people wouldn't mind bigots of that nature being taken care of... He didn't say it was great because he got to kill all the bigots. He said it was great because he got to kill all the white people.
July 3, 201313 yr What's deafening is the number of other celebrity chefs or chefs in general who are not coming to her defense because deep down, they know you can't run a restaurant like her brother did and act the way they acted and it be considered acceptable in the culinary world. Not even Gordon Elliott, who launched her TV career and that of other chefs, has come to her defense. I think those FN personalities who have seen her both on and off camera are letting their silence speak volumes
July 3, 201313 yr Personally, just taking for face value that she made a derogatory statement many years ago, then she is being railroaded big time and it's a total load of crap. With that said, I personally find her very annoying and got to where I can't stand to watch anything she does, and me and my girlfriend watch a LOT of the cooking shows and food related channels. I think her appeal had waned over the past couple of years, at least as far as on tv anyway. And to top it all off, the interview where she said..."I is what I is...", I mean, come on, that sounded as stupid as the day is long and I personally think she did it purposefully trying to garner sympathy, and all of it backfired.
