June 19, 201313 yr Just watched a replay of last night's game, and am amazed that Cozart couldn't tag out Martin on that steal in the first...TWICE!! I know the Reds scored zip...but, thought that may have been turning point in game. Should've been two out and nobody on from there. Still would've put some pressure on the Pirates' pitching.

It was a hit and run, and Cozart couldn't make contact. Reds were struggling, and he was trying to get something going. No problem at all with the call.

June 19, 201313 yr I assumed Dusty sent him to avoid seeing Cozart hit into yet another double play. It should be mandatory to steal a base if Cozart is at the plate. I'm directing my once Drew Stubbs hate in the direction of Cozart now. The sad thing it isn't his fault Dusty hits him in the 2 hole. I would be fine with him on the days he hits 7th or 8th, that's fine. But hitting him 2nd is driving me insane. Looking at his .272 OBP is something I can't stomach.
