Where Would You Have Played? (With a Twist)

Featured Replies

Obviously, I would want to have played for Simon Kenton.

I could have used UKFan making me sound like a D1 talent despite my D3 skills.

Well played.

I always admired what Coach Ed Miracle accomplished in the 1960's at Lynch High School. That was when I was in school. It must have been hard work to get and keep a small school in Harlan County at the top. They won championships in 1959 and 1960. Coach Miracle had them in the finals in '59, '60, '61, '62, '70 and '71. So, if I had to change schools, I would have loved to have been a part of his program at Lynch.

I would have played for last years John Hardin team. Great team and probably should have won the 5A title. They were one play away from the title game.

I would have played for the 91' Danville Admirals or 99' Boyle Rebels, both teams loaded with talent and started unbelievable runs for their programs.

1986 Cincinnati - Cape instead of Wyoming HS. They beat us by 1-point, went to state and won.

High school me would be incredulous at this post. But looking at it, to get to play for Dale and the Birds would be incredible. Really, i'd like to play for any of the teams that were on the good side of all those blow outs i was on the bad side of...

One of the teams I was on in high school had coaches Lou Cynkar, Steve Sheehan and Ed Jackson on staff. All three went on to Ohio schools and did pretty well. I think I would have liked to have followed coach Sheehan to Ohio.

Of course would have also liked to have played football at NewCath and baseball at CovCath. Highlands is a given.

Cov cath great respect for coach Ray

I would like to have played in 1A in 1990. Would have meant a state title for the juggs that season. Absolutely no doubt at all.

These are great, but some of you guys aren't playing by the rules.

(If the team has won state in the past 13 years you can't pick 'em.)

I just realized i broke the rules, and I don't know how to edit.

That said, i'll change my vote.

One of the greatest games i ever saw was the (i think '03) Lloyd Juggernauts losing to belfry when that last second reverse pass fell through vance's hands. that Lloyd team was good. i'd want to play for that team.

I'd have played for Belfry. Because their coach does it right.

Plus I could have had the opportunity to butt heads with 2C in practice.
