Best QB to WR threat for underclassmen

Just curious, how would Cole Vonhandorf and Alex Shelton compare up to Kyle and Brett Slusher.

Have the first two played a game yet? How do you compare what has not happened to what has already happened?

No they have not, I'm asking how they compare up physically. And compare them from last year even though they are in two different leagues. And compare them on what we know they can do.

That's good production. Did they play Jv or are those Varsity numbers?

Varsity...and this is going to be a very good duo with a lot of potential.

Moore is one of the best athletes in nky and has an arm to go with his 6'3 frame.

Hedger is going to be a problem for teams. Also in the 6'3-6'4 range and very physical. Very underrated, IMO.

Way too much to happen to compare them right now. Heck, there's no guarantee that either of them will even play offense after their Freshman year.

Lets give it a little time.

Agree. Hedger was 6'4 and 3/8 217 at uc's camp last week.

I know Shelton will be playing D after Frosh because I believe he is practicing varsity as a LB. But your saying their is a chance that Cole might play D as well. If he even plays football.

I'm saying there's a chance ANYTHING can happen with these boys football careers.

How about we let the young Colonels get to the school before we start talking about them in a thread about this year's Threats. Neither of them has played a down of football with the Big Boy Colonel uniform on, so comparing them to two players that have already had a Varsity impact is a bit ridiculous. Not saying they won't be amazing when there, but they just aren't there yet.

I believe I heard Shelton is likely to be a defensive player and rumor is that Cole will focus on Basketball. Great to talk about what's coming, but this thread is about current threats and we should probably stay off the Pee-Wee fields when speculating on impact players.

waiting in the wings: Freshman QB Aaron O'Hara a very talented Freshman at Ryle, has very good mobility and a very good arm. lots of potential

Iv'e heard some buzz about him..

Ryan Letton are BIGTIME!!!

Kash Daniels (6'3 215 Fresh lefty this year with HUGE upside) and Luke Trimble (150 yd receiving +75yd kick return all by halftime vs state runner up Fairview) will be a fun combo with a ton of potential the next few years at Paintsville. Throw in 8th grader Kent Phelps (arguably best RB in EKY in that class) and they should be a nice trio next few years.

Luke is my nephew but I wouldn't praise him here if he wasn't legit.

I don't know what's in the water in Somerset but all 3 of those schools have some amazing 8-10 grade talent!! Lex Cath had an outstanding 8th grade back 2 yrs ago don't know how he did this year.

The Tiger Triplets turned out OK? Fun thread. Ryan at WKU. Sinclair at Purdue. Slusher tough. Roy/Washington both really good.

LCA has 2 Sophmore QB's. Braydon Miller, #3 in 2A, and Logan Nieves who got injured 4th game of the season. Both were splitting time before the injury. Ryan Stucky (WR), #1 in 2A, is also a sophomore. Actually all their WR's are sophomores. Only skilled position on Offense that is not is their TE.

Riley Hall sr. To Jake Johnson jr Pulaski County

Christian County Sophomore Kolbe Langhi has averaged 2,362 passing yards his first two years. He's on pace to be in the top 10 all-time if he continues his pace. JR WR Keyron Catlett has 2,758 career receiving yards is now 27th all-time KY receiver. Sophomore RB/WR Ziyon Kenner has over 2,000 yards all purpose yards his first two years for the colonels. These three will continue to improve and should be even more dangerous next season.
