Best QB to WR threat for underclassmen

Featured Replies

i heard his father and him didnt like the system. He was giving Cov Cath real consideration, but he decided to go back to where i beleive his dad is from.

If the Morgan's move to Hazard it will be because of a personal family matter that has nothing to do with Football.

Let's focus on Tanner's talent and potential as a QB and what that could mean for Ryle if he is able to stay.

My son played AAU basketball with Tanner for a season. I liked Tanner and Ted and thought he showed and would have success in football. I would joke back then with them about coming to the Mecca of football. I guess my bluebird ways failed but I wish both the best either at Hazard or Ryle. They seemed like good folks to me. I always wish these boys plenty of success in their future endeavors!

It's been confirmed that they are moving. I've known Tanner since bcpwfl. Wish nothing but the best for him and his family... Good luck ...

The next few years look to be very interesting. They are going to go by quickly so lets discuss who is the best QB to WR combination for incoming freshman and sophomores. Please do not nag on any kids. We just want to hear who and why they are the best combination. READY. SET. GO!

Last year two Sophmores connected 32 times for 352 yard and 3 td's. Dixie Hieghts QB Drew More and TE Andrew Hedger. Has to be up there for yards and rec. by a sophmore combo.

That's good production. Did they play Jv or are those Varsity numbers?

What bluegrasscard said. Reece to Letton will be the best underclassman combo in the state.

Cooper had a freshman QB that could be an unknown. If he matures a little and stays healthy, he will be connecting with some of the upperclass receivers at Cooper and surprise some people that don't already know him.

Definitely think this will be a great combo, but are Juniors underclassmen?

I always thought an underclassman was anyone who wasn't a senior.

Varsity numbers

Having never taken a varsity snap last year BW's Kyle Fieger, as a Freshman, threw 5 TD passes in first state playoff game alone. I am curious as to what his total numbers were for the 4 state playoff games in total.

I think the generally accepted definition is frosh and sophs.

............and if there was a favorite target on the receiving end.

Agree just posting what two sophs did last year.

Just curious, how would Cole Vonhandorf and Alex Shelton compare up to Kyle and Brett Slusher.
