June 5, 201313 yr What good does that do if he can't get on the mound? Either figure out how to get your body ready to be able to pitch that way or don't make it as pronounced. I think he can adjust it slightly and not have as much stress
June 5, 201313 yr I'm worried now about Cueto. If he has to change his motion that concerns me as well. It would have to be hard to change I would imagine.
June 5, 201313 yr Author Knowing the Reds medical staff he probably just has kidney stones.:lol::lol::lol:
June 5, 201313 yr Author I seen someone say that they thought Cueto was out for the year. What was that someone doing when you seen them?
June 5, 201313 yr “My teammates keep telling me I need to start playing again, because I don’t know what to do,” Phillips said. “I come in (to the clubhouse) during the game and I’m in here eating up all the snacks. I feel like I’m going to look like Ronnie Belliard playing second base when I come back. I’m eating up everything in here."  BP and Dusty both expect him to be back Friday.
June 5, 201313 yr What was that someone doing when you seen them? Typing on the computer I suppose... :idunno:
June 5, 201313 yr The more I thought about it the more I realize just how dumb it was not to hold Cingrani back. The medical staff sucks, the manager sucks and the decision makers might suck too. Not a great combo.
June 5, 201313 yr Author Sounds like something that most pitchers would pitch thru. I'm beginning to think that Cueto was really bothered by missing the playoffs last year, and he feels he let his teammates down, and he's taken every possible precaution to prevent that from happening this year. Johnny Cueto expects his stay on the disabled list to a be a short one. “The 16th,” he said when asked when he will be ready. June 16 is the first day he’s eligible. His stay on the DL was retroactive to his start on Friday. Cueto felt the injury in final inning of his start in Pittsburgh. He threw a one hitter and went eight innings and 103 pitches. “I thought at the moment it was something little, insignificant,” Cueto said. “This is too early into the season. . . I want to help the team, so I communicated that I felt it. I want to be able to help the team.” Cueto has an exaggerated twist in his windup. He nearly turns his back to the hitter. He said he’d considered changing his delivery if it was found to cause the injuries. “I talked to the doctors,” he said. “They explained to me that they don’t think this is something to do with my mechanics, so I don’t think I’ll change. Now, if they told me the oblique area, I’d think abut changing my mechanics. This is some little, insignificant thing.” Cueto, Baker and trainer Paul Lessard all said this injury is not as significant as the last one. “This isn’t close to what it was,” Cueto said. “Actually, I don’t think too much about this one. All I want is to be ready. If we, thank God, go to the playoffs, I want to be ready.” Johnny Cueto on his injury | Cincinnati Reds
June 5, 201313 yr Author Rockies score 1 in the 1st, the Reds answer with 4 in the bottom of the 1st.
June 5, 201313 yr Author Well Villarreal gets the 1st 2 batters out again in the 2nd, and then gives up a double to Garland, but bounces back to get Young to ground out to Cozart.
