I don't dislike CCHS football at all. You asked about what they need to do to be good in 13, KEEP their good players. Quit losing them to NCC or HHS. He'll, even Brossart.

 

Unfortunately, this year will be a long one for CCHS, they will take a step back. There is a good chance at a 1-9 season. Hell, first game of the year, Newport will be full strength, that could be a loss.

 

It's just all about expectations. If an NCC coach or HHS coach went 3-7 and 4-6? Or 5-5, not exactly sure of last years CCHS teams record. And lost in the 2nd round, there would be job vacancies.

Camels were 7-5 last year why do you keep saying they had a losing record? CCHS will miss Durham like NCC will miss Thacker. Someone else will step up to fill the void. No different when you all lost Hightchew and Kelley. I know you think we are nuts for putting HHS on our schedule but back in 93-94 when HHS started playing Cincinnati schools and Moeller bludgeoned them for 2 years it doesn't seem to have hurt them years later. NCC is 8-5 against CCHS over the last 15 years, not quite sure that is "owning" them over the years. But I agree with you that we are 6a and should beat and own you all. I still have a ton of family up on the hill and root for them when they aren't playing my kids. Dude you came on dropping nuke bombs on all the Camel faithful. It's all good, I love your passion but your gonna have a stroke.

How does getting embarressed help your program? You may have kids turning their pads in at half time. You consistently lose to a 2A program, how you think your gonna do against HHS, really? Is it "kahunas" or is it lickert doing dale a favor. I'm guessing dale promised not to run the score up, but you know he won't be able to resist.

Nah, not trashing. I tell it as I see it. Most people can't handle the criticism on here and I find that hilarious. Most forget, it's just opinion.

 

CCHS is CCHS, they have had good teams in the past, but they will never be consistently good. They are one of the biggest schools in the state and you field an average football team, and for most seasons, a bad football team. You think because lickert is from HHS that he going to bring that mojo to CCHS, you are all fooling yourselves. CCHS is a stepping stone for him and it will be for most coaches that come through there. Let me add, I think lickert is a fine football coach and the new staudium is spectacular. My opinion, he's waiting on the Ryle job, so he will have a chance to win in 6A.

 

It's a shame, the parents are very passionate about CCHS football. The kids, for the most part, are not.

Wow...What a thread but can't we all just get along? I will admit there is a buzz in CC but I will hold judgement until the games are played. They will have the nicest facility in NKY that's for sure.

Best wishes to CCHS this season. I think it speaks well for CCHS and the coaching staff that they scheduled Highlands this year. Either the CCHS staff believes the Camels will be competitive in the game, or that CCHS will take away something valuable from the experience, or both. Either way, it is a positive development, in my opinion.
