I haven't fiddled around on the PVA's website for a while. Just for comparison's sake...can anyone check how much the Jung's mansion is worth over on Dudley next to St. Pius X?

Yung's is $2.6mil.

Browning's is currently $1.7mil. I think he went through foreclose years ago. It doesn't appear anything is over $2.5mil back in that subdivision.

I realize that the PVA values can vary from the purchase/resale value, but man oh man...what the hell kind of finishes would they have to put into a house of relative comparable size and location to make it worth THAT much more? I'm still really struggling to see that house topping out over $5 or 6 million, to be quite honest.

They wouldn't get that kind of money for it if they sold it. This is what they put into it. I heard for example they spent $550K just for kitchen countertops, didn't like them, and then invested in new ones.

By chance do you know the guy that was hired to do the library? His company did the finishing of the wood. Said it took something like 8 weeks. You'd know him because he looks like an 80s rocker including the hat and eyeliner.

Hum, interesting. If the goal was to create a lot of buzz about the house they have done a good job.

Before foreclosure, I think it was in the 2.5mil range. If he owned 30 acres, 20 was hillside, wasn't it?
