Just throwing this out there but are the Pacers really that good of a team in this series? In the games they beat the Heat the Heat have sucked really bad and still hung around for a long time. Pacers do not know how to close out games.

Wade is sucking, Bosh can't rebound, Allen can't buy a 3 and has missed FT's.

I'm not giving credit to a team that came up one game short in a quest to win a series.

Most of that has to do with Indys stingy D. They have played one of the best defensive series I have ever watched. Just as good if not better than last years Miami D. They have looked hopeless at times trying to break Indys D. Pacers are for real and they are going to be a contender in the east for years to come. They saw they could give the Heat trouble in last years conference semis so they manned up and paid Hibbert and put a team together that could challenge Miami.
June 2, 201313 yr To say the Pacers may not even be that good because of the Heat's struggles I don't get. They struggle BECAUSE of the Pacers D. The Pacers D has been well recognized as a force, obviously for a reason. Barkley picked the Pacers in 6, I'm not saying those guys are always right, they aren't but for him to make that pick means to me the Pacers were viewed as legit even before the series began. For the charge call I saw that as a no call. The defender is allowed the rule of verticality, play on. However the T was deserved, Lebron showed up the refs just as much in that display as a player who would have slammed both hands on the floor in frustration, that was a clear T. I think the Heat win game 7 but I have to believe they are legitimately worried. The Pacers are a tough, tough team that has pushed the Heat to the limit. One last point to how well the Pacers have played. Has anyone watched Lebron? Dude has been awesome. Even with that we go to a game 7, that says something to me about the Pacers in this series. Very fun series.
