To say the Pacers may not even be that good because of the Heat's struggles I don't get. They struggle BECAUSE of the Pacers D. The Pacers D has been well recognized as a force, obviously for a reason. Barkley picked the Pacers in 6, I'm not saying those guys are always right, they aren't but for him to make that pick means to me the Pacers were viewed as legit even before the series began.

 

For the charge call I saw that as a no call. The defender is allowed the rule of verticality, play on. However the T was deserved, Lebron showed up the refs just as much in that display as a player who would have slammed both hands on the floor in frustration, that was a clear T.

 

I think the Heat win game 7 but I have to believe they are legitimately worried. The Pacers are a tough, tough team that has pushed the Heat to the limit.

 

One last point to how well the Pacers have played. Has anyone watched Lebron? Dude has been awesome. Even with that we go to a game 7, that says something to me about the Pacers in this series.

I never saw a push off. I saw a guy legally going to shoot with two hands on the ball the whole time change his shot in the air and get called for an offensive foul.

Then the refs should consistently call it. You know how many players push off or hook players and its not called? Try every game.

I have no way to put into words an argument for someone who doesn't think the Pacers D has played a factor in this series. It just seems obvious to me from watching the games.

Are they as good with Granger? I say addition by subtraction. With Granger, George is no where near the player he is right now IMO. I'd sell Granger to the highest bidder.
