May 7, 201313 yr Author When I watched it yesterday I jumped back from my desk and threw my headphones of my head. All the guys in the office laughed at me and ask what was wrong. Did you show any of them and what was their response?

May 7, 201313 yr What bothers me, is that I didn't jump out of my skin. It caught me off guard, but didn't really startle me. That means I may be getting used to them, and that worries me. That's part of the reason I watched it. I know there are some BIG snakes in South Florida.
May 7, 201313 yr That's part of the reason I watched it. I know there are some BIG snakes in South Florida. I got home a couple of weeks ago, and there was a 6-7 foot black snake laying there in my garage when I opened the door. I opened the opposing door, jumped out of my car and chased him out. Didn't think twice about it and I've always been terribly scared of snakes. One nice thing, I don't have a rodent problem.
May 7, 201313 yr Do you guys think that is a Burmese or an African Rock? My brother owned a Burmese Python and his snake's coloring was much different than that one's. If I had to guess, that was an Anaconda. Anaconda's don't get quite as long as Reticulated Pythons, but they get much heavier due to their much thicker bodies. If I were in the leather business, I would buy a 12 gauge shotgun, learn to skin large snakes and move to Southern Florida. That would be one of the few industries where your suppliers would PAY you to come take what you use as raw materials in your finished goods. The snake alone could probably produce numerous belts, shoes, boots, etc..

I am guessing the rat population has been on the decline in Southern Florida. The cat and dog population too I would guess. When people buys guns in S. Florida for self defense, it may not always be for defense from other people lol.
