Of most of those mentioned on here so far (except maybe Blake S. from Scott, but a nice player and will only get better), I would say you could make an all star team out of any of the ones listed.

My 5 would be:

1 Bolden

2 Hatton

3 Hemmerich (over Bo right now because he can score pretty well) but, (Bo by the time he's said and done)

4 McDonald

5 Trentman

6th man Ruthsatz

Sam H has a really quick release and can get on a roll. However, if we're going all-around game I'd have to go with Bo for his athletic ability, shot-blocking, and overall game.

I can agree with this also, I just like Hemmerichs ability to score.... Not that you'd need it with Bolden, Hatton, and McD on the floor. Bo also brings that intangible of passion and toughness. He also rebounds well. Just still seems a little stuff to me on offense, but plenty of time to work that out. Can still score.

My thoughts when I saw the name was... "Who??"

He's a hard nosed player, averaged 9 pts/5rebs, shot 50/35/75 as a Junior.

Bolden isn't a SG...he is more comfortable with the ball in his hands.

If you are going to go with that lineup, you need Ruthsatz at the 2, Bolden at the 1.

I set my line-up that way for 2 reasons - got to get Ruthsatz in the mix and

isn't Bolden playing the 2 for his AAU team - that is what I thought I read in another thread.

Stuhr from Ryle Williams from Owen Co, and Schulte from NewCath would be some solid candidates in the frontcourt to fill in any top 5 team from this area.

I am as big a Scott homer as you could find but you are way overrating Blake Schneider from Scott. He has some potential but has barely played on the varsity level and to the best of my knowledge isn't playing on the AAU circuit against the better competition.

Scott looses a lot this year, he will have a big role in this years team being the first to come off the bench. He moves around team to team for mainly different tournaments in the AAU circuit. He is putting lots of time and sweat in the weight room and open gyms this year preparing for next year. He will be a player to watch for sure.

I would have to go with:

1- Bolden

2- Hatton

3- Schuh

4- McDonald

5- Trentman

6th- Ruthsats

And, if we're going to throw could be's in there as youngsters (as some did with Shneider), I will throw in Austin Schreck of Dixie. Kid has a lot of potential and should have a bigger role this year. This kid as a 7th or 8th man on this team that we are fictitiously building, that is loaded! :D

I really started the thread to list by the position they play and 6th man is for the best player off the bench, Ruthsatz doesn't come off the bench.

Pangallo would be 6th man off my bench. Kid can play and will be more to look for in scoring this upcoming year from people I talk to no one gives this kid credit on his defense also. He is a strong kid and looks like he is about 6 ft now saw him at Highlands baseball game if he wasn't a stud baseball player he would of played Aau ball with the Travalers 16u team that McDonald plays on he practice with them before season and love how he plays the game.

I agree with you that Pangallo is good. One of the better guards in his age group in Nky. i would like too see his scoring pick up this year. However, I don't know how he would compete with national high level talent. Seems like that the Travelers were just throwing things against the wall to see what would stick early on. I can't put Pangallo on the level of Bolden, McDonald, or even Beverly. I hadn't heard he tried out with them, and with a blog like this and the way the word travels in NKY you would think that would have come out sooner. Maybe I just missed it. Hopefully the kid breaks out even more this year! Should have a great team with him running the point.

I'd go with:

Bolden

Hatton

Schuh

McDonald

Schulte

Give me that lineup and I'd like my chances against any other 5 in nky.

My thoughts exactly. :thumb:

I've stated numerous times how much I love Pangallo's game. Big fan . Big future.

However, if you're moving Bolden to the 2 there's only one choice for the 1.

1. Pangallo

2. Bolden

3. Hatton

4. McDonald

5. Schulte

Woww. Not only Bolden at the 2, but Pangallo over Ruthsatz???

I respect Money's b-ball knowledge but I obviously wholeheartedly disagree with him on this one.
