Not many see him in NKY, but Carson Williams from Owen County will be a beast inside. He's attending quite a few camps and workouts. Will be a force for a few years.

 

Saw Carson and Hoop Dreams 3 times this past weekend at Boo Williams. Love this kids' game. Very explosive and tough. He had a couple Dunks in each game and goes hard to the rim.

 

Only problem is his motor at times.

When I saw him play I was sure if it was motor or fatigue. I'd also encourage him to work on his back-to-the-basket game especially going to his strong hand side.

Bolden isn't a SG...he is more comfortable with the ball in his hands.

 

If you are going to go with that lineup, you need Ruthsatz at the 2, Bolden at the 1.

I really liked what I saw in the post season from him from outside. Put him in a lineup with Bolden and Hatton and he wouldn't be handling the ball much. Would get a lot of easy looks from those two.

Bo is a natural 3 and believe he will play that position in college. Just has never really looked for midrange game because he is always the tallest player on his teams. Does need to work on getting his shot off quicker but when he gets to college and plays his natural position he has a load of potential.

I can see him being a 3 in college. Like all kids he needs to work on his offense. As you said needs a quicker release. Needs to work on putting the ball on the floor and then being able to pull up for a jumper. He can make a living with a drive to the FT line and shooting a J. Started to show that in the district tourney. Like many kids who have tremendous athletic ability ie can jump well he takes the ball too far sometimes and gets himself into trouble thinking he can jump his way out of it. A pull-up J with his ability to get in the air will make him legit POY candidate his SR year.
