Happy to say that CCH guard Nick Fredrick committed to Bellarmine today. He recently worked out at BU and they liked what they saw. Fits their offense well. Shot 40% from 3 over his varsity career.

 

His best days are ahead as he's still growing. Dad is 6'5. Uncle is tall. Bro is probably 6'2.

 

Prior to this scholarship offer he was going to be a PWO at Winthrop. Pat Kelsey was pushing hard for him to come there. He saw the potential physical growth that could combine with his shooting skills.

 

Scholarship and proximity to home was too much to turn down. Plus he gets to play with 2011 CCH grad Jake Thelen.

The young man has come a long way from just being a outstanding shooter. to a complete basketball player in his four years of playing at CovCath. I have enjoyed watching him not only play but more importantly grow into a fine young adult.
