April 23, 201313 yr Manning and Brady will always be linked together and it is a fascinating debate. To me it has ultimately come down to what Manning has not done more than what Brady has done. Peyton has a terrible post-season record and only two Superbowl appearances to show for. I know there are a host of reasons or excuses as to why that number is what it is, but it is a fact. I am a little more hesitant to give too much credit to Brady though, especially his first Superbowl title. His first Superbowl run for me boils down to a few things. The "tuck rule" game which was one of the bigger shams in sport's history. Al Davis's theory is that the NFL conspired against him with the call. He is probably off base but I do not fully rule it out. I will never forget how long of a delay there was before ruling it an incomplete pass. Now Brady went on (behind Vinateri's leg) to win that title. Brady was the definition of a game manager that season. They dinked and dunked the ball and let guys make plays. The Pats only scored 1 offensive TD, Ty Law returned the other for a TD.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Will LeBron end up better than Kobe? Probably, but as of right now, anyone who tries to say he's better (career-wise) is crazy.

April 24, 201313 yr No one wins meaningless games as well as Peyton Manning. Put him on a stage where the games have real meaning and he's average at best. That is the one and only reason necessary as to why people should say Brady is better. Manning in his career is 9-11 in the postseason....He's been a "one & done" postseason QB 8 times. 8 TIMES! Tom Brady has won more postseason games than any QB in NFL history. Stupid debate over. You can harp on meaningless garbage all you want, but at the end of the day Tom Brady has 3 rings that "say he's good on Sunday" (Source: Michael Irvin). He also owns the record for most TD passes in a single season, 2 Super Bowl MVPs, 2 Regular season MVPs, has thrown for the 2nd most yards in a single season in NFL history, and throws very few interceptions. Also has the 3rd highest QB rating (during the regular season) in NFL history, above your beloved Peyton Manning who also throws more INTs a season (14.9 to 11.2). Bingo.
April 24, 201313 yr I have no problem with people picking Brady, but he's not even in the same league as Manning. Imo, Kurt Warner is better than Tom Brady. Tom Brady IS NOT even top 5 best QBs of all time. I think it's obvious someone just doesn't like Brady.

Yeah your pretty close on their records...but as the stats show their actual performance has been almost identical. There is more in winning then just what the QB does, special teams (Indy recovers on-side kick they probably beat New Orleans, how many games was Indy in a position to win and Kicker missed winning or tying kick), Defense and the rest of the offense. End of the day Brady has more rings and gets the nod, deserved or not.

Brady's got 17 postseason wins....He's played in 24 career postseason games....His #'s are 42 TDs, 22 INTs, 87.3 QBR Manning is 9-11 in 20 career postseason games. His #'s are 32 TDs, 21 INTs, and a 86.2 QBR.
