April 18, 201313 yr It must be nice to be Denver this year. Was about to say the same thing. Mark the Broncos down for 14-2 and home field in the playoffs.

April 18, 201313 yr IMO what I have figured out is the SOS dont mean crap. The good teams the previous year are usually down from losing free agency or beat up or over salary cap and cant get anymore younger players to replace vets who are beat up from playing more games. The teams who werent good usually go spend like crazy to get better and usually are. Or they were young and now they have more experience to be better.

So you don't think the Broncos, who went 13-4 last year, and have the easiest schedule this year will do as well?
April 24, 201313 yr So you don't think the Broncos, who went 13-4 last year, and have the easiest schedule this year will do as well? They will do well, lost a few good players, but not every team has PM and not every team is going to just reload every year. Elite QBs help.
April 24, 201313 yr With the Bengals SOS it looks like another .500 season lol That sounds familiar. Sounds exactly what people tried to say before last season when looking at their strength of schedule. Last year's strength of schedule going into last year was exactly .500 which is obviously barely less than the .508 going into next year. However people seemed more like they were predicting only around 6 or so wins last year. So at least people's predictions are moving up and now are at 8.

I was one that predicted less wins than they got last year, was also the first time I was wrong about the team in 20+ years
April 26, 201313 yr I was one that predicted less wins than they got last year, was also the first time I was wrong about the team in 20+ years I have a hard time believing you were right about them the year before, when most believed that they would suck. So that would make 2 straight times in the last 20+ years, which just goes into what I been talking about on how this team is different than all the Bengals teams that sucked that you can't forget about.

Well seeing how you have no idea who I am and what I do know about the Bengals, I find it hard for you to ever correctly predict what I have ever thought about the Bengals. The year before I had them going to the playoffs due to their easy schedule before the season started. You really have no clue about anything I know or how big of a fan I am of the Bengals. There is only 1 person on this entire site that has any idea about me and the Bengals, and that will be kept between he and I. It would surprise you though. Since you've only known me for less than a year, do me a favor and keep your stereotypical assumptions to yourself when it comes to me. You don't see me making assumptions about you and what you predicted about the bengals over the past 10 years, you should try the same and simply reply to things you know something about and stick to the posts at hand instead of continuing making things up. That is the best advice you will ever get, you're welcome.

I am actually going to agree with mt. ref on this one. Strength of schedule seems to be a total waste of time and energy to me. Teams change too much every year in the NFL to try and make this something to get all flustered about.
