On a related, but different topic, there is a lot of construction going on out in Cold Spring, across from O'Charley's and Longhorn Steakhouse and behind Sherwin Williams. It is actually best seen from the AA Highway, but is right between 27 and the AA. Just curious if anybody knows anything about what this might be.

All I want to know is when they're bringing an Orange Leaf type establishment to the Alexandria/Cold Spring area?

Count me in as thinking Firehouse Subs is pretty good. Kinda looking forward to them opening now.

Don't listen to Plantman, Firehouse Subs are pretty good. Have a different taste than most sub places because they steam their subs.

I'm with these three. I've only had it once, and that was in Memphis, but I thought they were great.

 

Never had City Barbeque, but I'm definitely glad that's going in there!

I haven't had it yet. It's only been open for a month, two tops. Its in the same strip as Raneiro's, Gold Star, and Subway. Pretty small little shop.

Tried that place a couple of weeks ago. It was ok I guess, but not near as good a Yagoot in Rookwood Commons.

I went there tonight. I thought it was really good. The same setup as Orange Leaf but they had a much better selection and I thought the frozen yogurt was better. I had lemon cheesecake.

I love Firehouse Subs, especially the beef brisket and New York steamer. I wish they would open one in Owensboro.

Firehouse subs is good. Plantman must like his subway meat that was cut in a factory a week before he ate it. Firehouse subs will stay busy.

I agree. I have eaten at the one in Sharonville three times...not impressed. Burger King of sub places. I wish it was a Jersey Mikes goin in there...Regular 13 on wheat Mikes Way!!!
