Do you have a problem with Adidas/Louisville selling Kevin Ware shirts?

I Shattered My Leg at the NCAA Tournament and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt | The Nation

 

I know I do some Louisville trolling from time to time to stir things up but this is not one of those. I think this will be a major topic as the weekend gets closer and thought BGP could have some good discussion on it.

 

Personally, I do not have an issue with it. As a kid, I would be thinking about how cool it was for everyone to be supporting me, not the potential money lost. As a fan, I can't criticize Louisville because I know UK would most likely do the same thing if this situation.

Kid breaks his leg on a big stage why not cash in(exploit it)and make some money on his behalf(and not give him a penny)? It's the American way. I wish I had thought of it first.

I agree with this! If Ware is ok with it that's all that matters.

Like he'd say he isn't okay with it. He's a nationwide celebrity and sympathetic figure now because of that broken leg. Had he not broke his leg he'd still only be known in Louisville. If he says he has a problem with it then he's a chump and they cameras and the love disappears and he becomes another greedy athlete.
