September 18, 201313 yr Jax is supposed to be the one with a heart, the one who wants to take the club a different direction, the father who wants to raise his boys differently. Surely a school shooting in his town (with one of his guns) would raise more of a reaction than just an "itch" to a father. Sutter had a great opportunity here for Jax to really look at himself and how the actions of the MC affect others. Instead, it was just their latest caper. Lather, rinse, repeat... I'll also add that the entire episode was the fallout of the school shooting. He can't leave the gun game, they killed the school shooter's mom and boyfriend and buried them at the cabin and the heroin addict is breaking laws to pin the blame school shooting on the club. I say it is all exploitative but the fallout from the school shooting is going to stink all season long.
September 18, 201313 yr They completely botched the school shooting. Seems exploitative now. I thought they executed the fallout to perfection so far. Last nights episode leaves me wanting more in a good way.

No actual emotional fallout that you'd think the character they are TRYING to make Jax out to be would have. Lather, rinse, repeat...

September 18, 201313 yr I thought they executed the fallout to perfection so far. Last nights episode leaves me wanting more in a good way. Agreed. FKW doesn't like the show as much as the rest of us on here so he tries to find things he can't stand about the show and starts digging. He hates that people love a show that he finds trivial. Once realizes The Wire will never be duplicated he'll be all right.
September 18, 201313 yr He's in the same vein as McNulty to me. Would that mean Jax is about to start framing dirty cops for gun deals and illegal activities that they're not really a part of? He did just befriend Robocop...

September 18, 201313 yr If you think about it Jax really hasn't had any time to process any emotional fallout from the school shooting. He didn't even find out that it was one of their guns used until he got home at which point Nero was practically waiting for him to come to his aid. Tying up those loose ends kept him pretty busy, as well as having to deal with Tara being release from prison, meeting with the Irish, etc. He really hasn't had any down time to process what happened. Just my opinion.
September 20, 201313 yr I must have missed something, what laws did the heroin addict break? When he signed the document that the ADA said was useless?
September 20, 201313 yr I must have missed something' date=' what laws did the heroin addict break? When he signed the document that the ADA said was useless?[/quote'] That's called forgery. Oh and he's using heroin, which isn't exactly legal. He also makes sure Otto is raped every morning. I'm sure there are others. :lol2:
September 21, 201312 yr I must have missed something, what laws did the heroin addict break? When he signed the document that the ADA said was useless? Wasn't that document Clay's confession?
September 21, 201312 yr Wasn't that document Clay's confession? Indeed it was did anyone catch what he signed his full name as?
September 21, 201312 yr Indeed it was did anyone catch what he signed his full name as? I think I remember Clarence Morrow.
September 21, 201312 yr I think I remember Clarence Morrow. It sure was. I'm waiting for someone to come out of the woodwork and call him Clarence now. I dunno, that just stuck with me, like it may have some sort of significance, it could be nothing.
