September 18, 201313 yr Yeah, they probably should have thought out the whole guns out in the open for our hostage to grab thing.
September 18, 201313 yr I don't know about you guys but the preview for next week wow. When jax looks through the two way and says that line I got chills .
September 18, 201313 yr I think that pony tail Marshall has something else in mind than a date at the No Tell Motel with the escort service lady. I think that Jax is about to be set up......
September 18, 201313 yr They completely botched the school shooting. Seems exploitative now. I don't follow. It's a show about a an outlaw motorcycle club with sex, drugs, violence(of all kinds) and all kinds of laws broken with no recourse going on 6 seasons now. Isn't the whole show and its premise exploitative? If anything, their lives are so nonstop even a school shooting with one of their guns is just another itch.

Jax is supposed to be the one with a heart, the one who wants to take the club a different direction, the father who wants to raise his boys differently. Surely a school shooting in his town (with one of his guns) would raise more of a reaction than just an "itch" to a father. Sutter had a great opportunity here for Jax to really look at himself and how the actions of the MC affect others. Instead, it was just their latest caper. Lather, rinse, repeat...
September 18, 201313 yr Author I think Jax is looking at himself and trying to change, but the crap storm around him is going to keep pulling him down. I think the harder Jax tries to do right the more things out of his control (like the school shooting) are going to cause him trouble and drag him back down. I see Jax losing everything that means anything to him (Tara and Kids) and then we will get a full on transformation for him...he'll turn into Clay. Next season I think will be Jax on a rampage all season, IMO.

The shooting wasn't in his town. It was in Nero's town. We also saw the fallout of it being one of his guns. The Irish won't let them leave the game. That's the whole point of the show. Doesn't matter how good your heart is and how much good you want to do. You can never leave that lifestyle. That's why I said earlier that Jax is becoming more like Clay each episode.

I expect a blaze of glory.
