"every time the offender is a black male usually between 18 and 25."

I agree as I don't support the group above. I am just saying they are not preaching any violence or anything, not breaking any laws, as I would think a HATE GROUP might. Now is there message or view something I agree in no....but I am just saying that this may be a big to do.... again I know only what I read in that article.

Again, my view is that things that are done according to ones race are not good in the long run.

You mean if white males were attacking blacks? There would be a national meltdown.

....

When I read "it's always....usually..." I think there's more to it than the message trying to be delivered.

And last I saw no one supported or backed that group except for like minded radicals. The claim that many blacks such as myself wanted to make clear is that these guys are not the same Black Panther Party from the 60s and 70s.
Are they really any different? I know they are technically a different group but it's not like the BPP from the 60's and 70's were boy scouts.

For the most part were criminals.

Right. They were Second Amendment advocates.

... that ought to do it. :whistling:

Oooohhhhhhhhh the irony...........

They were also known to be targets of interest for the communist party. It was held that communists felt racial unrest in the US was a key factor to destroy our culture, and they were willing to recruit and spend money doing it.

Not to get too far off track, but our enemies, and even some we may consider our friends, like nothing more to see our country weakened by dissent and lack of unity. I have never been to another country where they put our needs or welfare ahead of themselves, yet there are so many of us who care too much about international opinion.

I don't know how agreeing on one issue erases other criminal acts that took place?

I spent a good chunk of time on Towson's campus in the Fall of 2009. Went to multiple Student Government Association meetings while I was on their campus and back then the racial tension was what I thought at the time, extremely high. Doesn't look like that has really changed.

I don't know how agreeing on one issue erases other criminal acts that took place?

Calling all of the Black Panthers criminals because of crimes committed by some members of that group is like calling all democrats criminals because of crimes that some may have committed. To dismiss the good the Black Panthers did as a whole as well as their message because some may or may not have lost their way is erroneous. Many also question whether or not crimes were even committed by some of those who were convicted. Let's not act like the people enforcing the laws at that time(all the way up the ladder to the FBI) were not corrupt to the core when it came to blacks who spoke to loudly.

The Klan probably does some good somewhere does that mean we shouldn't still hate them as a whole? My point is any good you do or intend to do is overshadowed once you go down the road of violence. While the Black Panthers probably didn't do everything they were accused of lets not act like they were completely misunderstood or victims of a government conspiracy against them.

The difference between the Black Panthers and the Klan is that the Klan was built off of hatred and the Black Panthers were built off of self defense against police brutality. Their founding principles weren't anything similar at all. To even compare the two is misinformation at its finest.

I would mostly agree with this..and I would add that the KKK's plan was to make their point by terror. I would agree that the founding principles "stated" by the Black Panthers were to protect blacks, but I and many believe their stronger intention was to promote Marxism. This is reason number 1 that they drew the interest of the government especially given this was during the cold war.

Other than that I agree that the groups are incomparable.
