Doyel: "Marshall Henderson - I've Been You"

Advice for Ole Miss' Henderson

Good article by Doyel.

Henderson left the tournament in style after their loss to LaSalle by flipping off the entire arena as he walked off the court. You stay classy Marshall. Says a lot about Kennedy that he allows him to get away with all the crap he has this season. Dude needs to grow up.

Can a mod please correct my spelling error in the thread title? Thanks :thumb:

I haven't read the article yet but I am going to.

I am an admitted fan of Henderson. I love his attitude. His moxie. His swag. Whatever you want to call it. I like it. He entertains me. He makes me laugh. I hate Ole Miss lost because his interviews and press conferences and his twitter account is gold. That being said I am not sold on his skills as a player but I do like watching him play. If he does come back I will be making plans to attend the UK/Ole Miss game at Rupp next year. If he flipped off the crowd yesterday for what they were saying then he may run up into the crowd at Rupp and I want to be there when it happens.

Henderson is a punk, volume shooter. Enjoy watching the rest of the tournament in a drunken stupor.

Henderson strikes me as the type of player that a lot of people would like if he were playing at their school. Even then I think there would be some that wouldn't like him, but guys like him make you say "He's a jerk, but he's our jerk." (Though I'd use a much stronger word) He's not on a team I support, so I'll freely admit that I don't like him in the least bit. I'm not sorry to see that he lost and not sorry that he revealed yet again what he's made of.

Win with class, loose with class. Sometimes his immaturity gets the best of him.

Kennedy, the same dude who beat up a cab driver and dropped racial insults? He doesnt strike me as a guy that is too concerned w character issues

A buddy and I were talking about how wild he is off the court. Always seen with a drink immediately after a game. My buddy said, "I can't believe his coach lets him act like that." I replied, "what the hell is he going to do?"

100% how I feel.

I hope that I'm wrong, but he seems like the type of person that in 5 years we will be hearing all the wrong types of headlines about him

He's gonna get hurt outside of the protection of the gym one of these days.

I don't think we will have to wait 5 years....

If he even gets drafted, I'd love to see him try to carry that attitude into the NBA...
