If Martin is their throw in Guy then thats who you go with. Just seems when teams are in a hard deny you want to use height to help get it in. Martin may have been able to get the high pass. Really just surprised a Time out wasnt called it was close to a 5 second violation. I've witnessed a lot of games not been finished because teams cant hit their free throws down the stretch.

 

I wondered why Ballard didn't make an effort to screen for Snyder to get the ball in his hands. Looked like they just told the kids to try to get open and that wasn't easy since they were being face guarded by athletes of equal or better quality.

I expect a Ballard/Henry Clay final also if the draw works out.

 

I agree on these two teams. These two no doubt have the most talent! I don't see Holmes getting back to Rupp unless the 9th is down next year? Didn't Holmes lose everybody but Bolden?

From what I am hearing Holmes should still be pretty good next year. Mainly because of Bolden.

I read that Bosley is getting some D1 interest as a result of his performance. Wright State was one school mentioned.

I'm thinking the kid Martin threw the ball to(Perry maybe)was wide open. I don't recall any defense on him causing him to miss the pass. Martin just made a bad pass at the wrong time. Had Perry caught it Snider would have came to him to get the ball. That's what they did their previous two possessions before that.

I recall it being a fairly deep pass (which he obviously threw too deep) and I thought he had to thread the needle a bit. But I wpould like to see a replay, too.

I believe Perry was at half court or around that area so that is pretty deep considering the circumstances. I wish I had paid closer attention to how MC defended the pass at the baseline. I can't remember if Martin was being harassed or not. I know Snider was covered, maybe even double teamed. When I saw how wide open Perry was all I could think of was unforced error at the worst possible time.

Just saw video of the play. There was a player defending the pass and Martin's first option was to Perry. He just botched the pass.
