February 26, 201313 yr To me Te'0 is just a mess, I don't think he will ever pan out as a stand out player in the NFL, He is a product of Notre Dame HYPE, and BCS, Flawed system, and just all around media taking off with stories that are half truths. Feel kind of sorry for the kid to be honest. But go back and look at the highlights this kid has....Not a ton of these are really good linebacker play, some just plain luck.
February 26, 201313 yr Only time a linebacker runs 40 yards is in the 40 yard dash. I would be more concerned with his first 10 yards.

Seriously, answer me one question....Would you rather the teams you root for be good and have a shot at winning, or would you rather they suck and just have a bunch of local guys and guys you like on the team? Your posts regarding the Bengals and other teams you root for lead me to believe one of two things....either a) a huge homer who likes to make outlandish statements, or b) not a person who keeps up to date with sports very closely.

February 27, 201313 yr Sorry guys...but a 40 for an ILB doesn't mean jack! I'd want to know his 10yd time, his 3-cone (L-drill) and his 20yd shuttle. He needs to be able to accelerate quickly (10yd) and change directions well in small spaces (3 cone and 20yd shuttle). The 40 and bench press are sexy tests...but they do not translate to success on the field. He did very well in positional work apparently. His broad jump was only 9'4" I believe and his vertical was something like 33" inches. Both of those number are pretty pedestrian when we are talking elite level athletes at his position.

February 27, 201313 yr Excuses don't bother me a bit. If we drops a 4.6 in his pro day then it very well may have been stress. Performing in a more familiar setting without the extra distraction that he has had this week may show thru in his performance.

March 26, 201313 yr And a 4.71 in his second attempt. Not bad, not great. Agreed. No where close to his stated 4.6 or 4.5 that he was "supposedly" running though.
