February 28, 201313 yr KD is about to do it this year while leading the league in scoring. I think the large portion of dunks makes that stat a little less impressive for Durant. Not much, but a little. He's a great shooter but not the pure shooter that someone like Nash is. He can score with the best of them though.

If you round up, Bird had a third year. He averaged .496 from the field, over .400 from the 3 point line and .896 from the line one year. I love Nash but I will take Bird if you need a big shot to win a game over anybody - an assassin. I love Nash too though.
