With tomorrow's reveal of the Playstation 4 I'd expect Microsoft to not wait until E3 to unveil the new Xbox.

Right now there are rumors that

- the new Xbox will have to always be connected to the Internet to play games.

- will feature a blu-ray player

- will feature a 500GB hard rive plus Cloud due to the added use of downloading movies and games

- kinect will be vastly improved

I would agree actually and it's not because I don't like the Playstation but Sony has been losing money for quite a while and you have people that say the PS3 was better but I bet the sales figures would disagree considering that Microsoft was ahead of Sony almost every quarter.

If Microsoft comes out with some spectacular product that Sony cannot overtake I look for them to merge with Nintendo.

An Xbox can't do squat for me. If it doesn't play Blu-Rays then forget about it. I also don't understand the logic of subscribing to use my own internet that I pay for. That's crap too.

It's not subscribing to use "your" internet service, you're subscribing to use their online experience.

Ya know, one thing that I read about concerning some of the more notable games for the next-gen consoles...What about the sports games like Madden and NBA2k14. Will they have them for both consoles or miss out this year and hit them next year?

With a November release likely for both consoles I would say that NBA2k14 would likely have a game for both systems because it's usually released in October.

Madden would be wise to have a game for both systems IMO, but if they don't fix their own problems with the game it won't matter anyway.

PS3 77 million shipped XBox 360 76 million shipped...very close. 360 led until the last quarter when PS3 over took them in total sales.

Did not know that. Thanks for the figures....

I will say that Sony should lead the market by far because of how huge Sony is in Japan but that can only hold on for so long. I'd like to see Sony's figures compared to Microsofts in the United States though.

That's still crap. I pay enough for my internet. Now I have to pay just to play my friends? That's crap.

I already have one on my PS3. Why pay for another one? Plus I still refuse to pay to use my internet that is already paid for.

I will never buy another Xbox product. Nothing but trouble. My PS3 has been amazing. Not a single issue in the 3+ years I've had it.

If the rumor I hear is true that the new X-box will not play used games, I hope it drives them out of business. That's just a gouge of your customers and I hope that people see it.

I'm with you guys on paying for internet gaming on Xbox. Initially, PS3's experience on line wasn't great, but it has improved immensely. I for one will be glad to see actual game discs disappear. My kids haven't figured out how to put them away in the case when they are done. I'm sure Gamestops won't be too thrilled though.
