April 6, 201313 yr I'm totally against an always online connection but ya know my Internet never goes out and I never play unless I'm signed in. I'm always playing while I'm online as I'm sure many of us do. Problem is I don't want to be forced to do so. It would be a matter of principle for me as well. I've been an XBox supporter for both systems, but I will not reward/support such a system.
April 6, 201313 yr As you, I still doubt when the actual console is revealed that games will require an always online connection. If it does then Microsoft is a bunch of idiots and the next Xbox will fail miserably. This. Microsoft has to realize that requiring an online connection would just destroy their sales. I do not see it happening. Don't get me wrong I would still have the 720 because I never have my xbox on without live, but there are so many people out there that never use live.
