I would assume there would be someone. I'm guessing being Catholic would be a requirement.

I'll play along. Where may Ramsey go? Not many better coaching jobs in the state than Elder.

His name has been linked to several Ohio jobs. Currently, Springboro is the story.

Colleges have been pursuing him also.

I am scratching my head at his leaving Elder for Springboro. I obviously don't have any of the facts, but am confused as to why a successful coach would leave a GCL power like Elder for Springboro???????

I can think of two reasons:

1. Cash

2. Realistic expectations

You may have answered your own question.

There is no limit to the amount of money in springboro, that is one reason he could be considering it. I would say there are some serious $$$$ on the table.

I was just told by an Elder guy that the Springboro situation "appears dead." However, as he said, "with Ramsey, the next rumored stop is right around the corner."

It sounds like the Elder faithful are growing weary of this constant "looking around." He said that Oak Hills, he believed, was actually the closest to leaving that Ramsey has actually come.

By the way, cshs81, he believes your "scenario" is highly unlikely to come to fruition.

When (not if) he leaves Elder I believe it will be for a college position. Most likely an Ohio Valley area position that could utilize his ties to the area for recruiting.

As to his replacement.......... might the Colonels be a tad nervous? :sssh:

In my "scenario", I did NOT actually see an offer being extended.
