Updated team rankings in recruiting

There is a reason you haven't been good since the 50's and 60's and it will stay that way.

IMO it won't matter what kids you get. Coaching will get in the way no matter who is doing the coaching. You can talk all you want but until they do anything at all it is just smoke and mirrors.

So not even Nick Saban could coach at Ole Miss? Your logic make's no sense, Freeze's coaching has lead him to stellar records everywhere he has coached. Yes most of it has been on lower levels of football, but he wasn't in idea situations at any of the schools he coached at previously, and guess what they all won. Alabama fans and their arrogance never cease to amaze me. I guess it's just sour grapes over not getting Tunsil and Conner.

Previous #UK classes: 2012- 62nd, 2011- 61st, 2010- 50th, 2009- 41st, 2008- 57th, 2007- 54th, 2006- 36th, 2005- 67th, 2004- 52nd, 2003- 63rd

Bama , because they have a huge shortage of stud backs, just got the #4 back in the country Alvin Kamara out of Georgia.

I think a big key at UK is going to always be a coach that can identify underappreciated talent and then coach it up. Brooks was excellent at it. Clearly Stoops is getting much more respected talent right out the gate, but he will still need to really coach them up to be competitive.

Stoops has said they plan to add a few more to the class before all is said and done....(Hearns?, Lawson?)

Definitely agree, but this year they have 8 (potentially could get to 10) 4* guys. The past 3 classes have had 8 total. If he can bring in 7-10 4* a year, after the first couple seasons, you're looking at having 25-30 of those guys in the rotation, as opposed to 6-10. That could, and IMO will, make a huge difference in on-field results.

I really don't believe Alabama has ever had and sour grapes over Miss. I got the response out of you I was looking for. Sorry to upset you. :D You act just like a fan of a team who hasn't won anything in forever.

Now on a serious note I give Miss two years to be banging on Alabama's door for the national title. I do think they will be very good. :thumb:

For my Buck friends Ezekeil Elliott to OSU probably the last guy today depending on the punter saga. Elliott is a 4 star RB from St. Louis.

Bucks related recruit: Tom Tupa's son signed with Miami O.

I would believe that those are the two that he's talking about, not sure who would be left that was considering UK.

UK class rank by recruiting service

Rivals: 27

ESPN: 36

Scout: 40

Scout doesn't know football. Seems like everyone I see or talk to always uses rivals.com for their rankings, commitments and everything.

MacKenzie Alexander is from Immokolee(?) FL which is famous for putting out fast guys that can play. They have annual game referred to as the Muck Bowl. His twin bro committed to Auburn today. They visited UK.

You are thinking of Belle Glades which is northeast from Immokalee. Immokalee is the hometown of Edgerrin James and they are known for watermelon.

For rankings I think scout is less accurate, for information like all of these sites it's a school to school thing. With Ole Miss the scout site has the best info on where we stand. But it's mainly because the Ole Miss Scout site staff has been at it a lot longer than the guys 247 and rivals sent to cover us.
