Agreed but the "gun culture" is bigger in the south and there would seem to be more extremists from the area that has the most to choose from. Generalization to make a point.

Yet the most heinous crimes that have cross-state or international connections have been driven by Islamic-oriented individuals.

Who has called someone racist on this board? It's been a long time since I have seen that and it wasn't even related to the government when it happened. Name names. Who said it? Who is calling people racist?

That is the post and my reply stated that I didn't feel that was accurate. I haven't seen anyoe call anyone racist when discussing people on the dole or free handuts.

Extremists will still get the weaponry, regardless of its legality. Again, banning weapons to law abiding citizens does not keep away from criminals. Extremists are criminals to begin with.

 

However, facilitating access to weapons to law abiding citizens also facilitates access to non law abiding citizens. The NRA position to "arm everyone" is rediculous, destructive and shows that the NRA is not part of the solution to gun violence. Jesse Jackson is no more radical than the NRA solution to gun violence.

 

Furthermore, the NRA compels memberships from gun owners like unions compel memberships from labor.

Really? How so? A criminal can and will always get guns...even if there is a total ban.
