39th District Draw

Thanks, and I understand that is the case now. But both games haven't always counted.

Clark used to just play Paris and Bourbon one time. You are correct.

Wonder why this hasn't been brought up, move Mason out of the 39th and bring in either Robertson Co., Paris or Nicholas and that way all could play each other 2 times for seeding purpose and play the district at the Mason Girls Gym {old Maysville High Gym} and no one would have home court advantage and all schools would match up pretty close. Just my opinion

Then you will have what many people REALLY don't like; teams in the same county in different districts (Mason and St. Pat). Remember, it's supposed to be geography-based, not competition-based.

Look at Kenton County.........

My point exactly! People don't like what is going on in Kenton Co. Right??

Obviously Dixie isn't complaining since they are still in the 9th. From what I understand Scott is just fine with being in the 10th. How does SK feel about being in the 8th? The way it makes sense geographically is that they took the southern most teams out of NKY.

Why did they change? Was it strickly because Clark's talent dropped off?

Similar to the 11th region, where the Lexington schools are in different districts

Mason in all reality has the perfect set up. Three class A schools in the district and none of them named Bishop Brossart...................Lets face it any year Mason does not win district is really a bad year for them.

Doesn't hurt being the host either.

I think they only host every other year, with the opposite year being at Bracken County. Can someone confirm?

Same way with Madison County, although Madison Southern is not Class A. They have the perfect district setup (geography-wise) and if Madison Central doesn't win the district tournament in basketball every year, it's an absolute shock.

But just wait until the year that Scott, Dixie and SK along with two Jefferson County schools go to the sixteen schools, then you will be hearing the howling loud and long about five of the sweet sixteen teams from two Counties!

You know it and I know it, there will be screaming and yelling about it!

Honestly I look in the next realignment to see either all the Campbell County school go to the 10 or all the Boone County schools go to the 8th, as the 9th has far too many HS playing in the 9th Region compared to other Regions.
