Down boy!

I missed that one.

There is a committee and we discuss and debate for a long time. No vote.

No vote as in Guru's call?

Canady is on the team.

Your right, I looked over it. I was looking for RB/LB/ATH, didn't expect to see him as punter.

Still a good list.

In the end it is my call but I am sure anyone on the committee would tell you I am not a dictator.

We had him as an ATH for several versions but in the end he slotted at punter. However, if this team was to play a game I am sure Canady would do more than punt.

I wouldn't expect them to. I was just clarifying that someone has to make the call if there is no vote.

How many on the committee?

I feel like Mike Wallace from "60 Minutes" here but....

Are you saying you guys felt Canady is the best punter in the state or is this a case of "he's really good and, oh yeah, he punts too?"

Just like membership, I am not going to reveal numbers.

Look at his punting stats.

I am saying we put together a TEAM.

Essentially we are assembling the KY All Star Team that plays against the TN All Stars but that game doesn't exist any longer.

I don't have access to his punting stats. Are you saying they're top 5% in the state? Or does your "team" comment tell me that a stud punter could get bumped by a really good punter who also is a stud RB?

46 yards a punt

Legit!

The list overall looks pretty solid to me. I think one if not the best d-lineman in the state was left off the list. Matt Elam from John Hardin. 6'6 345 and can run for a big guy. I think those who have played against him or have seen him play would agree. I have seen him play several times and this kid controls the line of scrimmage. The kid has the potential to play big time football.

He's the best punter in the state. Period.

Ed, Elam was on on short list. The problem we had this year was a logjam at both DL and LB.

And I agree with you, Elam is a fine player with a big future.

Austin Collinsworth made it as a RB in 2009. You have no legs to stand on.

Bolin was the one without legs to stand on. Please tell me where I said Collinsworth should be all state in 2009. How do you know how I feel about him making all state? Are you assuming that I said Collinsworth deserved it?
