Survivor: Caramoan--Fans vs. Favorites

Featured Replies

Did anyone else think that Brenda was a little out of line demanding Dawn take her teeth out? I figured she was going to slam her but that was a bit much INVHO.

I don't think she was out of line, Dawn didn't have to do it. I don't think Brenda would have been like that if Dawn hadn't belittled it just a few minutes before. I was honestly glad that Brenda did that.

A few other random thoughts...

I thought it was very interesting that they didn't mention Brandon's antics at all at the reunion and it didn't appear he was there. I guess CBS has finally had it with the Hantz family (I say that and they might bring them both back with this Blood vs. Water season).

Cochran had one of the best Final Tribal Councils I've ever seen. Every answer was spot on. Like others have said, flawless.

Did anyone else think that Reynold probably had a couple of drinks before the Final Tribal? haha I sure did.

Also, I wish Cochran's answer to Eddie's question about "Where would you stand if you were at a bar with the 3 Amigos?" would have went something like...

"Well, hopefully I will be standing in front of you buying the drinks because you voted to give me a million dollars". But I did like his joke about the two ladies.

I was shocked at first. But then it made sense. Dawn made such a dramatic scene about her teeth and that she would pull herself out of the game if she did not have them. Brenda had the nerve to call her out.

She definitely did, but then in the Final Tribal Dawn played it off like it wouldn't have been a big deal. I think that's what made Brenda ask her to do it.

When Dawn answered her question and said yes, she would have stayed in the game, Dawn opened the door for that demand. I thought that was very sly of Brenda all the way around. She trapped Dawn, who was once again with that answer trying to connive her way to the $1M. She also showed Dawn in a real way how much it hurt her when Dawn backstabbed her. I thought it was excellent. It would have been interesting to see what Brenda would have done if Dawn had answered that she would have dropped out of the game.

I forgot all about Brandon. I think you nailed it. He wasn't there because he and Russell are together in the Blood vs. Water season and it is already getting started. Jeff said he was flying out immediately after the show to start filming the next season.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Malcolm get a hundred grand for "best player"? If so, I don't agree with that because everyone thought Malcolm would win it all. So he really was a disappointment.

On the other hand, if Brenda doesn't get voted out when she did, she had a great shot at winning it all. Brenda out played, out witted, and out lasted Malcolm, and deserved the AT&T 100 grand. I know the votes were one percentage different, but they didn't say who voted.

Cochran played the perfect game, he deserved to win it all!!

I can't even tell you how much I hope you're wrong about this. If they put not one but 2 Hantz idiots on the show that may be when they finally jump the shark. I think Brandon was excluded because the producers had no idea how he would react and couldn't aford to take a chance of him going totally nuts on live TV.

That really might be the case. How about the whole Hantz family vs. Rookies. Now that could be some entertainment lol.

That $100,000 is given to the fan favorite. Not who the fans thought played the best game, just whom they liked the most. I don't think the vote would have been that close at all if Dawn didn't royally screw over Brenda. I think that got Brenda a lot of votes. She might have not even finished 2nd if it wasn't for that. Outplaying, Outwitting, Outlasting doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the fan favorite vote...just whoever they like the most.

One of the best and most deserving winners ever.

Thought the Rudy/Richard 'reunion' was a little over the top. But loved the 'Rat/Snake' clip from the first season final tribal. Still maybe the best speech ever at a final.

That thought went through my head also.

I finished this one this week. Props to Phillip for playing a much better game this time around even though it didn't matter. The returning players have so much of an advantage that I wasn't shocked that Cochran won. I was shocked that Dawn made it that far. I'm good if I don't see her again. I like Malcolm but he really over-thought this one. Shemar and Corinne are two of the most annoying people to play. I wasn't surprised to see Corinne crash and burn on the Amazing Race also.

I was surprised the entire cast wasn't at the finale. I then did some reading. Several were public in their displeasure of how they were treated and apparantly weren't told of the format switch until the day of the finale and after they had flown family out.

I'm also surprised it took this long for a in-camp meltdown from someone. Props to Jeff Probst for keeping Brandon's meltdown from getting worse.

Not a bad season. A little better than the previous few.

Brandon's meltdown was absolutely crazy. Dude had a loose screw or two.

I really enjoy Phillip. He might drive me nuts living with him 24/7 but I enjoy him on my television.

I am not a Corrine fan at all either.
