May 9, 201313 yr My impression after watching: Dawn sucks. Sherrie still hasn't won anything. Erik is weird, Eddie is a cool guy and Cochran is a great player.
May 9, 201313 yr I thought the reunion between Brenda and her dad was pretty neat. And that Probst said it was the first reunion where he teared up. I know it's a game. But the immunity challenge where Dawn gave Brenda the impression of "just let her win because she never has," then votes her off.....well that was low. We have seen countless immunity challenges where the last 2 standing strike a deal like that and it's all good. Has there ever been another immunity challenge with a deal then a switch like that?
May 9, 201313 yr I love the way that Dawn is playing the game and deciding he own fate. She learned a lot from the last time she played. With that said, she just signed her death wish in my opinion. I honestly don't think she'll get one jury vote, if she makes it there. Her and Cochran are tied together now in my opinion. Great move by Cochran. One of the best. But they better hope they can get Eddie out in the next two votes. I don't think he deserves to win, but he might if he's in the final three. This morning I still feel for Brenda. She was just too sweet and got taken advantage of. After everything she did for Dawn, always consoling her when she was freaking out, tried to give her time with her husband, found her missing teeth. Poor girl. I don't think she'll fully rip into Dawn, but I do think she'll hurt her where it counts. Who goes down? Dawn because she has another mental breakdown but can't recovery because Brenda isn't there? Erik because of the hunger?

I didn't think that Brenda actually agreed to give it to her? She wanted to fight it out but knew she'd only last five minutes. She really might have let her win in her head, but I don't think they actually made an agreement. Facebook is crying tonight about greed and dishonesty. Bunch of babies. The whole franchise is built on greed and dishonesty. Go evil people!!!! Couldn't agree more. It's a game. What happened to Brenda was a game and I feel bad for it, but it was a game!

I just can't stand sniveling Dawn. Too bad that Brneda picked Dawn to be her best friend on the island. I hope that is Dawn's last immunity idol ever. Go Cochran!

It's funny that when a move like that is mind, Cochran comes out smelling like roses and it looks like a "great move", while Dawn looks like such an awful person because of her relationship with Brenda. Very smooth move for Cochran and it couldn't have worked any better in his favor. Potentially a $1 million move.
May 9, 201313 yr I've been watching Survivor since season 1 and I have never had the reaction to a tribal I had last night. I was really mad. I spent the rest of the night reading the hate for Dawn on Twitter. As I read there all Dawn did there was carry Cochran's water for him. She is going to take 100% of the blame for the blindside and he's going to reap the benefits.

I've watched every episode of Survivor from the beginning and I've never felt that way after tribal. I loved it for the show's sake, but I felt so awful for Brenda. It really couldn't have worked out any better for Cochran. If him and Dawn make it to the final, which I think they will, he will be praised for a strategic move, while Dawn will get backlash. Brilliant by Cochran. And what's even better, he wasn't the first one to necessarily bring it up (at least from what we saw). He was able to get Sherrie to say it first, so she thought it was her idea. One less person he had to convince.
May 9, 201313 yr I've been watching Survivor since season 1 and I have never had the reaction to a tribal I had last night. I was really mad. I felt the same and I could not understand why I was so angry with this blindside compared to others. I hope Dawn never gets a chance to come back on Survivor. If she does, villain for sure! :lol2:
May 9, 201313 yr What did Brenda say at Tribal? She turned and said something and I was distracted at the time so I did not see the caption or hear what she said. I saw the second comment as Probst put out her flame where she said "It hurts." I missed the first comment when she stood up to leave.
May 9, 201313 yr I think I know why. Dawn was so dependent on Brenda and was still in the game just because Brenda talked her down when she lost her retainer in the water. I don't recall a previous blindside where someone had gone out of their way to be so kind to another player only to be taken out like that.

I saw the second comment as Probst put out her flame where she said "It hurts." I missed the first comment when she stood up to leave. She said something to the effect of I was genuine with you. I think it was aimed squarely at Dawn. Go to CBS.com and watch the video of Brenda arriving at the Ponderosa. If Dawn makes the final 3 (and I think she will now) it will not be pretty for her.
May 9, 201313 yr The question is this - is Survivor ever not about the game? Last night, Dawn said no with her vote. Her vote said this is always a game and there is no such thing as a real relationship. What does everyone else think? Would you ever put relationship over your perceived opportunity for the money?
May 9, 201313 yr Author I couldn't stand Dawn's theatrics before and this made it even worse. I know it's a game but that was cold. By the time Brenda fills in the group at the Ponderosa over what went down she won't get a single vote at the finals.
