January 8, 201313 yr We need a new Party to come in and clean hose. Get America back to where we used to be and put our morals and Christian Values back. We need cut the corruption, ignorant spending, and get America back to what we used to be. I wish someone like Stanley A. McChrystal, Allen West, Colin Powell, William Boykin. I believe they have enough experience in dealing with problems we face and are all good men who love their country and hate seeing it in the shape it is in. Get rid of everyone in Congress and start over. Unite the country and actually work for a common goal. America.
January 8, 201313 yr Colin Powell is happy with where the country is. Otherwise he wouldn't have voted to re-elect our current President.
January 8, 201313 yr Colin Powell is happy with where the country is. Otherwise he wouldn't have voted to re-elect our current President. Well, he was paid to make an ad in that general (no pun intended) direction.
January 8, 201313 yr Author Colin Powell is happy with where the country is. Otherwise he wouldn't have voted to re-elect our current President. Bet he isnt happy and because he said he voted for Obama doesnt mean he actually voted for him.
January 8, 201313 yr Where did our country used to be? Are you telling me there was a time when pols weren't influenced? When was this time?
January 8, 201313 yr Bet he isnt happy and because he said he voted for Obama doesnt mean he actually voted for him. Okay, so either he voted for President Obama or he isn't a guy with morals and good "Christian values" and is a liar.
January 8, 201313 yr Okay, so either he voted for President Obama or he isn't a guy with morals and good "Christian values" and is a liar. Agree. I wouldn't vote for him either way.

January 8, 201313 yr Author Where did our country used to be? Are you telling me there was a time when pols weren't influenced? When was this time? Where did our country used to be, seriously? Of all people I would think you would know we are not like we used to be.
January 8, 201313 yr Where did our country used to be, seriously? Of all people I would think you would know we are not like we used to be. Why would I be that person? I think the yearning for the "good ol' days" is filled with blind spots and false information.
January 8, 201313 yr Why would I be that person? I think the yearning for the "good ol' days" is filled with blind spots and false information. Lord knows I don't want the "good ol' days". Hell. Naw.

No too scandalous. 80's? I didn't think the 80's was any better than now.. 90''s then? Hmmm. Oh yeah more scandal. 2000's? Nope... So when were these good ole days anyway? The 19th century. Hmmm. Slavery, civil war, assassination. Guess the 18th century? Has to be it...
January 8, 201313 yr Author The good old days: When Americans could actually trust government. When Americans didnt have to be scared of not being politically correct. When illegal immigrants came to America to work and not just get on welfare. When our President sent Christmas cards and called them that and not ashamed of being a Christian. When we could believe our President. When you took others word for it or a handshake sealed the deal. When parents believed teachers before their own kids. Why does everything have to go back to race for you all? I am probably as old as you all and didnt experience racism with others, everyone I knew got along.
