They don't have that momentum...then you get last night. While I think your point has merit, the Alabama kids were off for almost as long as the Notre Dame kids and they didn't seem too bothered. Manti Te'o is certainly a good college football player and he could potentially be a solid NFL player, but it was obvious last night that he lacks some of the physical skills and talent that it will take to be a star in the NFL. Can he improve? We'll have to see.
January 8, 201313 yr No knock on the kid, great season for ND. He doesn't pass the look test for me. No more in depth analysis for me than that. Maybe he'll be a stellar pro, but I think he's overrated. There's a difference in layoff swoon and not as fast/stout as the cats your playing against. And it seemed to be B. for me.

True, but when it's the first game he's played against elite competition and he gets exposed, it has to raise some red flags. Think it does prove the Heisman talk around him was a huge crock of bull.

OU and Stanford don't have elite NFL caliber talent. Bama does, and they exposed him. He seemed way too slow, actually he looked very similar to Rey Rey last night. That's not a good thing.

That's not a good thing. He will run a 4.6-4.7 at the combine and be fine. He won't be Ray Lewis or Willis, but he can be a very good starter for good teams like London Fletcher or Zack Thomas.

Arrington was an OLB who was an athletic freak who never learned the game and Boz was a bully. Te'O will be fine. I don't think that he is a 3-4 backer, but we will see. He would be better in a 4-3.
