January 8, 201313 yr Did he lose millions of dollars last night? Was he exposed as an undersized linebacker that has been playing against weak competition all year?
January 8, 201313 yr My guess is that his stock didn't change much because NFL teams already had a good read on him. Fans are much more reactionary than pro scouts/teams.
January 8, 201313 yr I had to do a couple double takes....Could have sworn Rey Maualuga took his spot for the Irish last night.
January 8, 201313 yr He's not very good. I'd take Bama's ILB's over him every day of the week. However, ND's TE acquitted himself very well last night. He can play.
January 8, 201313 yr He's not very good. I'd take Bama's ILB's over him every day of the week. However, ND's TE acquitted himself very well last night. He can play. I would think Tyler Eifert will be the first TE taken in the next draft.
January 8, 201313 yr ^I think this game proved what NFL caliber backs will do to him. Lacy just abused the poor guy.
January 8, 201313 yr Manti is a kid every school wishes they had more of. He's a credit to ND. He plays the game the right way and I'm a fan. With that I saw a hilarious tweet last night that said "Te'o is Irish for Bosworth." Very cruel but very funny.
January 8, 201313 yr Prior to last night Mel Kiper had Manti at #2 overall pick and #2 LB behind Jarvis Jones.
January 8, 201313 yr The combine will impact Te'o in the draft more than last night's game. Nothing is a substitute for live play against NFL caliber players. Te'o looked lost and out over matched out there last night. Maybe the Bengals will pick him up lol........
January 8, 201313 yr Manti dropped a lot of weight during the off season and I thought it hurt him against the run all year. In pass coverage he was much better this season.
January 8, 201313 yr I would think Tyler Eifert will be the first TE taken in the next draft. It should either be him or Ertz from Stanford.
