David Henley's resume ain't too shabby...

Was this of all time or in the present? If all time, Reynolds Flynn should get some mention.

The man on the top of this list is none other than the Coach who took CovCath to the finals of the 1967 Sweet Sixteen and who took CovCath to a feat that still hasn't been topped in the Ninth Region, that is five straight Ninth Region Championship, a man who gave Coach Ken Shields his 1st coaching job and a man who was the 1st Head Coach of NKU... That man is none other that Coach Mote Hils!

Folks, I'm 99% sure the thread was started to talk about current 9th regions boys coaches. It probably came about after a comment about NCC's coach not getting enough respect.

 

So, no history lessons needed or else I will have to talk Wild Bill.

Holmes won 4 out of 5 9th region championships, went to three straight final 4's, back to back state title games, and won a state championship with Henley. That's a pretty solid run too, TOG.

I think the 9th as a whole has some very good coaching...hence why we have seen so many guys at the same school for so long.

If we are going 10th region too, I'd throw out Brannen and put in Carr

I'd like to add Carr to that. Take Brannen out.
