Good the shins are healing up switching to rotating days of cardio at the end of the workout has helped. Ran yesterday, today was swimming laps and tomorrow will be 5000 meters on the row machine. Then a day off and do it all over again the next 3 days.

I'm feeling pretty darn good and definitely will be extending my water and milk only drink diet throughout most of most of November. I got a call today from the police department I've been going through the motions with for over 6 months now and it's time to finally start the next phase of the hiring process. Life is good!

EXCELLENT! :thumb: Keep it up!

Plan on a long post with all the details when you have recovered!

Also just finished the Bourbon Chase. Got 2 Halfs coming up in November (Shakertown and Renfro Valley) and my first full marathon (Disney) in January. A lot of running in the near future.
Your progress is inspiring. Keep up the good work my man.

Awesome. I"ll be following you and a training partner all day long. Good luck my man. Is Mrs. Bugatti doing this one too?
I predict 19:26.

That would be awesome and might also wind up with me being single. My gf's PR is 20:40...she will not like if I beat her, lol.

Best way is with Irontrac. It is a .99 cent app on the iphone and 10 x better than going through the IM website, which you can do as well. There should also be race coverage and video camera that will stay at the finish line once the race coverage ends. I know 2 years ago they had an underwater camera you could watch during the swim portion.

Well, you can't let her beat you. Trip her if necessary. While I consider myself to be a good runner, I am not super speedy. My PR in a 5K is 19:54 and I hated every minute of it. I loathe 5Ks and going that hard. If I trained properly I could probably knock off another minute, but no thanks.

Yes, she is.

Irontrac is what I use. It's awesome.

I'm pretty used to her beating me. She can't swim so we're cool there. The last standalone 5K I had was like 3 years ago and it was a 29:13 (also my PR) lol. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of 5K's.
Yes, she is.

You'll have to text me your bib numbers and I'll add them to Irontrac.

I pulled something in my hip/right gluteus maximus doing dead lifts yesterday and it feels like something is trying to pop out from under my skin now. It's not constant but if I turn or pivot it hurts like heck.

Amazon is running a special for $15 off an order of running shoes over $75. Enter code RunFall4. I just ordered a pair of Inov-8 TrailRoc 245's.

I love my F-Lite 195's. A little rough for running very far (anything much over a mile) but for plyo type stuff they are awesome.
