Congratulations Brandon what an unbelievably awesome accomplishment. Now lets hope and pray you stay healthy so you mak it very hard for the next kid to break it. Now I'm going to change course. I can't believe people won't give this kid his "props". He is a good kid and has worked his tail off to become successful. Its unbelievable that grown people hold a grudge on a kid they personally don't know. But thats ok you are the same people that fuel his fire. So hope you keep it up it has worked great so far.

Congrats to BH. If I remember correctly that puts him at 1800+ points. My aging memory tells me that 9th region record is about 2600.

Congrats to Brandon. Great accomplishment! Tip to parents and a comment regarding HD's comments. When you choose to reclassify your kid, be prepared to see your kid take some heat. It comes as a package deal. Worse part, the better your child is, the hotter it gets. Like someone else said here long ago..........what a shame that we build these kids up in their youth to tear them down when they get older. Sad. Love watching Brandon play. Gamer.

Well lets see, the kid just broke the school scoring record as a junior. There has been a couple hundred people read this thread and three people has said congratulations. In my eyes thats that is definitely not getting your props.

I was off by about 200 points. Draud ended up with 2,865 points.

 

He has 50 to 55 games left in his high school career.

 

That's 1000 points.

 

He can break the record.

Another piece of advice. If you have a kid who plays sports and you are a member of BGP, expect the worst and hope for the best. You can't come looking for praise here. It's not a good place. Tough crowd. It's "no harm" when people are "swinging" on other kids, but when it involves your own, its a whole new ball game. If I were Brandon and/or his family, I would never even read BGP. Just keep doing what you're doing and keep to your task. Don't ever listen to or worry about what other people think or say about you. Stay above it. Just keep fillin' it up young man. Do what you do........and that's ball.

Great points. You definitely have to keep things in perspective and be realistic with your posts. Bottom line is the best players are always going to have "Haters" and many times its the parents of the kids who can't be realistic about their own kid's talent compared to someone like Brandon. Kid works hard on his game and has been a gym rat since he was a little kid. I'm happy for the kid and wish him success. But expecting everyone to praise him on here is just not realistic. Just let em drink their haterade and smile behind the scenes.
