It was not a blatant elbow, it was an inbounds pass the Scott player tried to steal the pass and hacked Bolden in the shoulder. Bolden's caught the ball came stright down and elbow caught him in the face. Happened 10 feet in front of me. Nothing intentional about it. Let me just say it was very physical and the Eagles were not victims. Both teams did not back down.

There was little to no contact on the shoulder from the Scott player. The Holmes player swung through with his elbows and caught him in the face. The rule this year is a point of emphasis that any swing through with the elbows above the shoulders whether it even makes contact with the player in the head (which it did) or not is SUPPOSED to be a Techinical/Intentional foul. That is my gripe about the play. It was not called the way it the rule is intended to be called this season. Players, coaches, and officials were informed of this rule/point of emphasis in the offseason and the officals got it wrong in this instance.

So the Scott players say there was nothing going on dirty on the floor. Scott fans say there was and Walter is biased. :lol:

I'll agree with you that the speed of this game was so fast that the officials could not keep up. The game was not decided by the officials, it was decided in the 1st have when Scott dug themselves a hole, but the calls for the vast majority went to the home team. They play again in January in Taylor Mill, should be another great basketball game.

You cannot have a T for the elbow if it happened during a live ball.

The game is at Scott January 17. It was originally scheduled there, it was not moved. Scott played at Holmes last season, this year is in Taylor Mill.

I never once said the game wasn't officiated poorly for both teams. It was, but the Holmes players took a couple cheap shots and an elbow landed on the chin of a Scott player. I hated seeing that. Just calling it how I saw it. Not being biased at all. Holmes was the better team plain and simple. And by the way, I am not a "Scott Parent". Just a NKY basketball fan.

How were you talking to Scott players when you said you were in the Holmes locker room and Scott got there food from the concession stand to go and was back on the road 15 minutes after the game? Been in the field house a few times and safe to say the concession stand and the Dawgs locker room are not right next to each other.

Looked like it was the next day when he spoke to the players judging by the time of the post when he said he spoke some Scott players in the last few minutes.
