I hate to pick on Ms. Clinton. She is one of the few adults in this administration. She is a professional politician and has paid some dues double - hers and some of Bill's.

 

But the writing is on the wall. No one wants to talk about Benghazi. It was either a royal security mess-up at best as the report issued this week indicates. Or it was a base for clandestine operations by the CIA or other out-of-limelight functions.

 

Reasons for saying that:

- 30 survivors that are not allowed to talk to Congress

- Ms. Clinton ducks out and does not reschedule

- The CIA chief, the general of US African forces (Ham) and an Admiral of the closest carrier strike group (Gaouette) have all lost their post since the incident.

 

Either a complete blunder or a clandestine operations center (why are 30+ 'state department' people in a 'consulate' in area other western nations have all pulled out of). Either way no one wants to talk about it.

From what I read about the report that just came out:

 

State Dept took some hits for failing to recognize the growing dangers.

Report of the WH watching but not sending help was found to not be true.

Report that senior officials didn't allow trained CIA operatives to go help at the compound was not true.

Maybe this will follow her much like the wreck Ted Kennedy had on Martha's Vineyard and kept him from running for Presidemt.

Not sure. There are things that happen daily that our government is involved in that isn't brought to our attention. I understand the 24 hour news cycle and the desire to feed that beast but there are things the public doesn't need to know because there is no clear explanation for it. Call me crazy or a conspiracy theorist but I feel like there are missions going on as I type that involves the safety of people in the military(government...CIA, DoD, NSA) and innocent people as well and that these things aren't always brought to our attention. Seems to me like Benghazi was brought to our attention and I am not sure it should have been. I blame human nature.

Sorry but when there is an attack on the US that kills a high level diplomat, it should be brought to our attention and I certainly don't blame human nature. As the investigation stated, there were/are leadership and management problems that need to be addressed. If we don't discover what went wrong and correct it we will be subject to more failures such as this as the world grows more and more dangerous.

What the heck has Hillary been doing to get a concussion? I have raised two sons and the only time they ever had a concussion was playing football. We are talking about a 60+ year old woman with a "concussion"?

 

Please, they could have come up with a better excuse than that. Heck, the flu would have been more believable.

Passing out and hitting the floor or a piece of furniture with your head without any protection is likely to cause a concussion. She's not a young woman, and it's not unheard of for such an injury to occur.

It saddens me how people have become these days and make fun of the health of some people just because of political views. Most traveled Sec Of State in History, visited the most countries, travels a lot more than the president, did a great job helping with the Israeli/Gaga crisis which took a toll. Add that when you are not feeling well and still running around the world equals becoming weak and prone to falling or fainting.
