December 4, 201213 yr For full disclosure- President Bush spent most if not all Christmas' at the White House so his staff and secret service could spend the holiday with their family. 477 of W's "Vacation Days" were weekends at Camp David. President Obama doesn't go to Camp David as much I would assume because he enjoys playing golf on Sunday mornings in DC...nothing wrong with that. 490 Days spent at his Ranch That got me thinking, it doesn't seem like President's Clinton and Obama had a "homestead" for lack of a better word. Bush, Johnson and Reagan all had ranches I remember them going to. Don't remember Bush 1 or Carter having places like that either.

Living in the White House would be vacation enough for me. That place has to be awesome. Well, I am a beach bum so I would gas Air Force One up with taxpayers money to frequent my 'homestead' in the Florida Keys during the winter.

Bush I had Kinnebunkport in Maine. Carter is a workaholic and not going to take much time away anywhere. Bush I went to Maine a lot but probably not in comparison to others discussed here.

Of course you will never hear about Obama vacations because the media doesn't want you to know that. Why isn't Obama in talking to congress right now. We haven't had a budget in 4 years, and our country is facing a financial mess of unbelievable proportions and our president is on twitter, playing golf and planning his $4million , 20 day, Hawiian vacation. He needs to get into the White House 24/7 and start working with Congress. He is on twitter asking the uninformed voter to push his agenda. He needs to man up and get in there and talk to the elected officials of every state that the people voted into office.
