November 30, 201213 yr I don't know how Stern could dish out sanctions against the Spurs. They showed up with players on their roster, and they played the game. They broke no rules. They aren't obligated to play certain players in certain games.
November 30, 201213 yr Disagree with the Commish 1,000 percent on this one. Team management has to look at the big picture. Cal Ripken notwithstanding; how many times do you see a MLB team rest several starters on a Sunday afternoon? Do they get "substantial sanctions"?

November 30, 201213 yr Stern has the largest ego in all of sports. He stopped being a commisioner and became a true Czar sometime in the early 90's and it keeps getting worse. Just look at the Chris Paul trade that was nixed.
