November 18, 201213 yr Brufict continues to impress me. 9 straight games that Green has a touchdown. Edited November 18, 201213 yr by EQUUS GREVYI
November 19, 201213 yr The last two weeks they have played to the talent level they have. Good teams don't let bad teams even think they have a chance, and they took any hope that the Chiefs had away early in the game. The real key to being a good team though is doing it consistently! So they still have to show that they can do this consistently because they have not shown that yet. However I do love how they have looked the last two weeks! Who Dey!
November 19, 201213 yr Green's statistics are unreal for a 2nd year Wr. Best draft pick in a long time. They said he was the best Wr since Moss coming out of college and he hasn't dissappointed. 16 TDs so far, the great Jerry Rice had 18 after two complete seasons. I also think Sanu will become a great compliment to AJ.
November 19, 201213 yr AJ is a beast. Not reading much into the game. KC is a sad excuse for an NFL team.

He was the one who was suppose to take over the #2 receiver spot before he hurt his knee on the opening kickoff of the Steelers game.

The only thing to read into this is that they beat them like they should beat a bad team. Don't allow a bad team to stay close like the Steelers did the week before when playing the Chiefs. Now they need to go out and do the same thing next week to Palmer and the Raiders.
November 19, 201213 yr They played pretty well. The Thursday night game and the two remaining games against the AFC West look very winnable now. Dallas is winnable also. They have a chance to end with a decent record if they take care of business.
November 19, 201213 yr 1 Game back of Indy and Pitt for the two wild card spots. They sure shot themselves in the foot with those losses to Miami and Cleveland. Playoffs are still attainable though.

November 19, 201213 yr A few quick observations... One...I really like Gruden's play selection over the past couple of games. Seems to really have the defenses guessing some times. Two...the offense still wasn't that great on 3rd down yesterday. They made up for it though, on first and second down, and were 3-3 on 4th down. Three...I think having Pat Simms back is really helping the d-line. If for nothing else, it's an extra man in the rotation. Gilberry's been playing better as well, and Atkins has been a flat out beast in the middle. And finally...it was nice to see a good running game. I realize 50 yards or so came on the 4th down punt-fake...but, still. Nice to see the lawfirm with a good game.

I wonder if he was the driving force behind going for it on the 4th downs yesterday. The math says going for it on 4th down is usually the right idea.

The math says going for it on 4th down is usually the right idea. I don't know. Zimmer was a pretty hot commodity, and they somehow managed to keep him. However, if things continue to progress with Dalton/Green, then after another year or two, you never know. As to the fourth down plays, the one was the fake punt...so, I'd imagine that came from the special teams side. The other one was at the goal line. I'm sure his input was taken into account. And the other one, if I'm remembering right was about at the KC 40-45...so, a punt for a touchback only gets you 20 or so yards...so why not go for it? They may already have had discussions about that area where it's just outside of FG range.
