Good win. Makes the ride home alot easier.

Very convincing win in Johnsonville. Congrats to the Colonels!

Alrighty then! Here we go again as the forces of good travel to Ft . Thomas next Friday to once again do battle with the forces of Daleness. :)

So I'm gonna come out and say it...did Matney get the respect he was due? His team *was* ranked in the top of their class. They lost (convincingly) to the #2 team in their class. I feel like the respect they got was appropriate.

Did CCH finish healthy tonight? Is Dressman ready to go next week?

I feel the same about the respect part. To get respect you have to earn it and how Matney is always claiming that the CCH's and other NKY teams of the world don't play by the same set of rules is tiresome at times. Great game coach yes, but you need to learn coach Matney that its not good to wake a sleeping giant. He has seen 2 very good CCH teams in 06 & 12 since he has been at Johnson Central and lost. Please learn from this and never overlook the Colonels in the future. Because true winners never overlook the Colonels. Period!!!!

Anyone have the link to the local newspaper? Interested in reading what Matney had to say about the game.

I heard that JJ Jude's dad was taking film of Spencer Hemmer from last night to the EKU staff.

That would be a nice for Spencer.

I looked online and didn't find anything.

Apparently that was the best game Spence has played since the Highlands game two years ago, the day his mother passed. Listened on line last night. Glad they beat them, saw the game two years ago and they were not a class team or fans.

Do my eyes deceive me or does that young lady have three breasts? :)

Can someone explain to me how JC expected to win when they are 0-5 passing the ball???? That is just plain SAD. One dimensional teams are not going to advance any further than this round with those kind of numbers.

There is an article from the paper in Ashland.. dailyindependent.com

Everyone honestly knew it would be hard for JC to win this game. They have not had much success stopping an even decent passing attack much less one the caliber of Cov. Caths. The only chance JC had was to match them score for score cause with JC offense it's to hard to play catchup. Unless Matney decides to open it up and work on a legitimate passing game this is what JC can expect. You simply can't advance in this region without balance, you can't. As a fan ill be in the stands next year cheering on my team and hoping for the best but as long as he keeps this Stone Age offense, were never going to advance throughout the playoffs. Congrats to Cov Cath on your win and good luck next week against the bluebirds.. This eagle is pulling for you guys
