With proper controls in place I am fully for the legalization.

I would not partake. Never have. Never had a desire to.

Agree Clyde! Have never smoked a cigarette not even ever tried it once, as I saw the effect on my Mothers health and I saw the effect of Marijuana on my friends back in the day when the stuff was passed around at parties.

Nope didn't then, won't now and yes back in the day it caused me some problems when I wouldn't take a puff from some of my friends stuff at the parties, to the point I stopped going to them!

That's awesome you can stand up to peer pressure, I applaud you.

Well this answers a lot. :D

In all seriousness, what age were you then if you don't mind me asking.

From 20 to 33

Been there, done that. I probably would, if I still smoked cigarettes, but I've come to like my lungs, too much.

Having said that, if I had a medical condition that could be helped by smoking a bowl now and again, I'd do it in a heart beat.

While I appreciate the complement, it had more to do with the fact that my Dad was dead and my Mom was in the Hospital a lot after his death.

While my friends, if indeed they got in trouble had their parents to at least bail them out and deal with, I was in a sense, on my own!

I was lucky however as if gentlemen like Mr. Tieman or Coach Cronin found out, they would have "killed me" and I am not just using the word "killed me", lightly!

Ok, so taking some notes here: After this is pased in KY go to the store and buy some Goldfish (actually I love those things) and head to the party that PP92 and Mcpapa will have. (tasty waves mun, let's party)

Still awesome you didn't especially in a situation where you could have just given up, much like kids do now days.

I feel if the worse thing my kids do is smoke pot then that is awesome. Too many real bad things out there.

Actually this is how I picture mountain ref:

Lawyers try not to deal in absolutes. There is always a gray (or in this case green) area. Never say never.

Did a photo at a Southwestern pep rally a few years back during my stint in Somerset. I'll have to examine it again (it's been a few years since I've looked at it), but I'm pretty sure there's a curly-haired fellow off to the side in a drum circle.

I have a question, because I have no idea what the answer may be. Actually a couple of questions. First, for those of you with experience, does it impair you enough that you can't operate a vehicle properly? And if so, I wonder if in states where it's legal, what will the safeguards be when drivers might be under the influence? Is there something at their disposal that can determine if they are over a limit? If that is slow in coming, and the amount of vehicle accidents and deaths increase from the use of legalized marijuana, will there be a reconsideration from the states?

I can shoot pool and play foosball pretty well when high. That's about as far as I know.

Either way, it definitely impairs you enough where driving should be a definite no-no.
