If weed was legalized, I'm interested to see company policies on it. Would work places treat it like alcohol? Don't come into work drunk (or high in this case), but if you want to afterward, go ahead? Or would companies say even though it's legal, we don't want our employees smoking so we'll do drug tests once a month? It would certainly put a damper on the industry if everywhere prohibited their employees from partaking.

Good point. Where I work at the only time employees are drug tested is during the hiring process and if you have a bad accident at work. Truthfully, one of the reasons our company doesn't perform random drug tests is because there is a general belief in the corporate world that around 20-30% of the work force would likely test positive and companies don't want to lose employees. If you have an accident then you'll be tested immediately.

Yep.

As a young person I tried it on a handful of occassions and can't say it did much for me other than to make me tired. If they were to make it legal I might give it a shot. I mean why not, what have I got to lose.

For those that tried it a long time ago, I have seen shows on TV shows that pot is way more potent and the plants are healthier than they were back in the day. So almost a completely different drug.

TV shows huh?

TV shows huh?

I wasn't alive back in the day. So I wouldn't know how the pot was. So yes, TV shows. I think the one on Nat Geo.

No. It kills brain cells and I don't have any to spare. :D. Y'all go right ahead though. The more you smoke, the smarter I will get. :p

Caffeine doesn't kill brain cells silly!

I don't smoke now but have tried it before. I'm sure I'd have a celebratory smoke if it became legal and maybe use it for those REALLY bad hangovers. But nothing to be considered a regular pot smoker or even an occasional one.

Wasn't sure how to vote, but since I'd almost definitely have a celebratory smoke I figured that constituted a yes.

Not going to say an all out no, but highly unlikely. I honestly do not know about health effects. I would imagine it would be detrimental to my physical strength so that would prohibit me from doing it much or any at all.
