Absolutely not. To each their own, but I am trying to get rid of tons of bad stuff from my diet (including caffeine and high fructose corn syrup). Why would I want to add something else?

I find it a little bit comical that some are only believing the ones who say that they do it now. Honestly, some of us have no desire for those types of things.

I absoultely believe the ones who would never do it.

I'm just laughing because I think we have a few more smokers on here than just cammando. Plus it's a little harder to admit you are a smoker vs not.

WE, think SOME, not all! No where did anyone say "all" people who say no are not telling the truth, but more so that people won't respond at all.

In my best Dave Hester voice - YEEEEEEEEPP.

I was something between a recreational and a regular user from 16 to 22 (closer to recreational). Once the guys on my floor at Morehead's Regents Hall (freshman dorm back in the day) found out that I had just a bit of a flair for writing; I was often paid for my writing services in weed.

Stopped before I got married and started a family.

Yes I'm 65 and have never tried it ,but it will be on my Bucket list if it ever legalized in Kentucky .:ylsuper:

Some of the biggest potheads I know are to the right of mtnref.
There is no one alive that is to the right of mountain ref .

If I was still active I'd happily admit it. I'm thinking you're right.

Tough call. I've only had a couple hits once when I was wayyyy to drunk for it to even matter. I'd most likely give it a shot and see if I liked it. I know all my friends like it an awful lot.

So, you just enjoy the contact high.
No. It kills brain cells and I don't have any to spare. :D. Y'all go right ahead though. The more you smoke, the smarter I will get. :p

Smoking pot does not kill brain cells.. Alcholic beverages do kill brain cells..

Most of the bad info people get from Marijuana is from propaganda that has been passed down for years, a lot of it isn't even true. Several recent studies are starting to show that marijuana can actually have more positive benefits than negative. Some studies indicate that marijuana has little to no long term health risks associated with smoking it. The only major risk is that you are inhaling plant matters, when combined with tobacco smoke you are at a much higher risk for lung disease and things such as that. However, studies have shown that those who smoke marijuana and do not smoke tobacco have about the same chance for lung disease as a non smoker. Basically what this means to me is tobacco smoke is more harmful and when you mix it with daily marijuana smoke you are at an even greater risk, but if you only smoke marijuana your not at much risk.

Marijuana has many medicinal benefits, everything from migraines and nausea, to back pain and anxiety. Almost every minor medical ailment, amnesia, anxiety, headaches, etc. can be helped by certain types of marijuana. Numerous consumer goods could be made cheaper and more durable from the cannabis plant and its cousins. The hemp plant can make textiles that are stronger and more durable than the ropes and fibers we use for clothing. You can also make fiber board with it which is similar to plywood, only its like 10x stronger and cheaper to make. The list of goods that can be made from the plant are a long one and I will try to find it and link it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is studies are finally starting to prove that marijuana is no where near as bad as we have been led to believe all this time. In fact, its much more beneficial than harmful if used properly.

Sorry for the rant.... (and not ranting on you rockmom, your post just gave me the quote to start)

It should also be noted that the cannabis plant is being found to be a great source for nutrition. The leaves have more nutritional value than any other agricultural plant in our diet, yet it is still perceived in such a negative light.

Use to do it everyday, loved it, especially when watching football or movies, so much better when high as a kite, oh yeah playing video games are better too.

Use to buy it by the pound so I didn't have to fool with getting caught buying ounces or dime bags everyday.

Nothing like waking and baking.

It did calm me down a lot and make things more clear.

Only used 1.0 zig zags and never rolled a runner.

Haven't done it in years though and it would probably floor me.

In all seriousness, what age were you then if you don't mind me asking.
